Youbite pork and turkey sausages recalled for mislabeled natural casings

Stop eating Youbite brand sausages

Youbite, LLC is recalling about 7,197 pounds of raw and fully cooked pork and turkey sausages sold at farmers markets in Southern California. The products may contain natural sheep intestines or natural pork intestines that were not declared on the label. Products were made between October 9, 2018, and October 9, 2019.

  • Do not eat these sausages if you have them at home.
  • Check your freezer and refrigerator for Youbite brand sausages with lot numbers ending in '100918' to '100919'.
  • Throw away the products or return them to where you bought them.
  • Call your doctor if you have any health concerns after eating these sausages.
