UNIUM and BISHAWY canned meat and poultry recalled for import violation

Do not eat UNIUM or BISHAWY canned meat

Global Zakii Enterprises recalled approximately 100 pounds of canned chicken and meat products imported from Jordan without required U.S. inspection. Jordan is not approved to export meat products to the United States. The affected products were imported in September 2019 and distributed to stores in Texas.

• Do not eat UNIUM Chicken Luncheon, UNIUM Luncheon Meat, or BISHAWY Corned Beef in cans
• Throw away any of these products or return them to the store
• Call USDA at 1-888-674-6854 with food safety questions
