German Sausage Haus smoked meat products recalled for staphylococcal enterotoxin contamination
Do not eat German Sausage Haus smoked meats
German Sausage Haus recalled multiple smoked meat products due to a processing error that may have allowed staphylococcal enterotoxin to contaminate the meat. The affected products were produced between June and September 2017 and distributed in Washington state. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for German Sausage Haus smoked bacon, sausages, ribs, shank, or pork products with package codes 71651–71656, 71951, 72051, 72131, 72231, 72232, 72301, 72442, 72501, or 72511.
- Do not eat these products.
- Throw away affected products or return them to the store.
- Call German Sausage Haus at (360) 387-6932 or email germansausagehaus@gmail.com with questions.
