Taylor's Sausage ready-to-eat chicken and cheddar sausage recalled for undeclared casings
Do not eat Taylor's Sausage products
Taylor's Sausage Inc. recalled approximately 1,086 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage products because the labels do not list pork or sheep casings that the products contain. The affected items are Smoked Chicken and Apple Sausage and Cheddar Dogs packaged between June 26 and October 10, 2019, and sold in California and Oregon. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Taylor's Sausage 16-oz. packages with lot codes 19217, 19176, 19282, 19273, 19259, 19252 (Chicken and Apple) or 19247, 19217 (Cheddar Dogs)
- Do not eat the product
- Throw away the sausage or return it to the store where you bought it
