Thompson's ground beef recalled for potential E. coli O157:H7 contamination
Do not eat Thompson's ground beef from this recall
Clair D. Thompson & Sons, Inc. recalled approximately 700 pounds of ground beef that tested positive for E. coli O157:H7. The affected products were produced September 27–28 and October 2, 2017, and distributed to institutions in New York and Pennsylvania. Some packages may be frozen in consumers' freezers.
- Do not eat Thompson's ground beef with establishment number EST. 9681 from the dates listed above
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
- Seek emergency care immediately if you experience bloody diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, or decreased urination
