Do not eat Procesadora La Hacienda corned beef
Procesadora La Hacienda, Inc. recalled approximately 2,400 pounds of ready-to-eat corned beef products produced on October 4, 2018, because they may contain soft plastic or metal fragments. The contamination was discovered after schools in Puerto Rico reported complaints. No injuries have been reported.
- Do not prepare or eat this corned beef if you have it
- Throw away the product or return it to where it was purchased
- Check your freezer and refrigerator for packages labeled 'PROCESADORA La Hacienda CORNED BEEF, TUBED' with lot date 10/4/18 and expiration date 12/4/18
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten this product and feel sick
