Simmons Prepared Foods poultry products recalled for possible metal contamination
Do not serve Simmons poultry products
Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc. recalled approximately 2.1 million pounds of poultry products produced between October 21 and November 4, 2019 because they may contain metal fragments. The products were distributed to institutions in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for products with establishment number P-1949, P-486, or P-5837 on the USDA inspection seal
- Do not serve these products
- Throw away the products or return them to where you bought them
