Swanson Meats boneless beef tender tips recalled for undeclared soy and MSG

Do not serve Swanson Meats beef tender tips

Swanson Meats recalled about 20,063 pounds of marinated boneless beef tender tips because the labels did not list soy, MSG (monosodium glutamate), and papain (a meat tenderizer) used in the product. Soy is a known allergen, and MSG can trigger reactions in people sensitive to it.

  • Check if you have Swanson Meats Marinated Boneless Beef Tender Tips (code SM04291, EST. 5697) produced between February 26 and August 26, 2015.
  • Do not serve this product, especially to anyone with soy or MSG sensitivity.
  • Return the product to your supplier or discard it.
  • Contact your healthcare provider if you have any allergic reaction concerns.
