National Steak and Poultry ready-to-eat chicken recalled for potential undercooking
Don't eat recalled National Steak and Poultry chicken
National Steak and Poultry recalled approximately 17,439 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products produced in early October 2016 because they may be undercooked. Undercooked poultry can contain harmful bacteria that cause foodborne illness. These products were sold to food service locations (restaurants, cafeterias, institutions) and should not be in home kitchens.
- If you work in food service and have these products, do not serve them—throw them away or return them to your supplier.
- Check product labels for lot code 100416 and case codes 70020 or 702113.
- If you have consumed this chicken and feel sick, contact your doctor.
