Gold Medal Packing veal products recalled for E. coli O26 and O45 contamination

Do not eat Gold Medal Packing veal products

Gold Medal Packing Inc. recalled approximately 4,607 pounds of boneless veal products produced in August and October 2016 due to possible contamination with E. coli O26 and O45. The contamination was discovered during routine testing. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Do not eat any veal products labeled Gold Medal Packing with establishment number EST. 17965
  • Throw away recalled veal or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Check your freezer—some products may still be frozen
  • If you develop diarrhea, vomiting, or bloody stools within 2–8 days, contact your doctor and mention this recall
