Do not eat Vermont Packinghouse beef quarters
Vermont Packinghouse, LLC recalled approximately 10,828 pounds of raw beef quarters from cattle over 30 months old. The beef may contain specified risk materials (SRM), particularly spinal tissue, which is unfit for human consumption. The affected products were sold only at Walden Local Butcher Shop in Boston, Massachusetts between February and June 2018.
- Do not eat this beef if you purchased it from Walden Local Butcher Shop in Boston
- Throw away the product or return it to the butcher shop
- Contact your doctor if you have health concerns after consuming this product
