Suncrest Farms and Food Lion pork rinds recalled for undeclared milk and soy allergens

Do not eat these pork rinds—throw them away

The Pork Rind Factory recalled approximately 18,406 pounds of pork rinds sold under multiple brand names because they contain milk and soy but the labels do not warn of these allergens. The affected products were produced between March and September 2015 and sold in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your pantry for Suncrest Farms, Food Lion, or Larrys brand pork rinds with use-by dates between September 2015 and January 2016.
  • Do not eat these products if you or anyone in your household is allergic to milk or soy.
  • Throw away the recalled pork rinds or return them to the store where you bought them.
  • Contact your doctor if you or a family member consumed these products and have allergic symptoms.
