Do not eat Texas Natural Meats beef tongue

Texas Natural Meats recalled approximately 116 pounds of frozen beef tongue products that may contain specified risk materials (SRM)—materials linked to BSE (mad cow disease). The products were made between April 2016 and November 2017. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat this product if you have it
  • Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Check your freezer for packages labeled 'Beef Tongue' with establishment number EST. 34449
  • Call your doctor if you have concerns about your health
