Kowalski's Markets salad products recalled for undeclared tree nuts
Throw out Kowalski's Markets salads
Kowalski's Markets Sicilian Chopped Salad and Italian Steakhouse Cobb Salad contain pine nuts that are not listed on the label. These salads were sold at Minnesota retailers with sell-by dates from December 27 through January 2. Pine nuts are a tree nut allergen and can cause serious reactions in people with nut allergies.
- Do not eat these salads if you have a tree nut allergy
- Throw away any Kowalski's Markets salads with the recalled sell-by dates (12/27–01/02)
- Return the product to the store where you bought it
- Call your doctor if you have consumed the salad and experience allergic symptoms
