PFP Enterprises ground beef recalled for undeclared soy allergen
Do not consume PFP Enterprises ground beef
PFP Enterprises LLC (doing business as Texas Meat Packers) recalled approximately 7,570 pounds of ground beef products produced on September 28, 2017, because the packages contain soy but do not declare it on the label. The affected products are labeled as "85/15 Ground Beef Bulk" with product codes 4013 or 4012 and "Patterson Food Processors" printed on the package. These products were distributed to retailers and institutions in Texas.
- Check your freezer for ground beef labeled "85/15 Ground Beef Bulk" with product code 4013 or 4012 and establishment number EST. 34715
- Do not eat these products
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you or a family member experiences an allergic reaction
