Adolf's Meat Products deli meats recalled for possible Listeria contamination
Throw out Adolf's recalled deli meat
Adolf's Meat Products in Hartford, Connecticut is recalling about 224 pounds of deli meats (kielbasa, ham, Canadian bacon, pork loin, and liverwurst) produced on October 20, 2015, because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The contamination was found during routine testing. Products were sold at the company's store and some may be in home freezers.
- Do not eat these products—throw them away or return them to where you bought them
- If you are pregnant, over 65, or have a weakened immune system and ate this meat, watch for fever, muscle aches, headache, or stiff neck within two months and contact your doctor
- Wash your hands, cutting boards, and utensils with hot soapy water after handling the recalled meat
