Do not eat All American Meats ground beef
All American Meats, Inc. recalled approximately 167,427 pounds of ground beef products produced on October 16, 2015, because they may contain E. coli O157:H7 bacteria. The contamination was discovered through USDA testing on October 30, 2015. These products were distributed to retail locations nationwide and may still be in home freezers.
- Do not eat this ground beef. Throw it away or return it to the store.
- Check your freezer for ground beef with a sell-by date of 11-03-2015 and establishment number EST. 20420 on the USDA mark.
- If you or family members develop bloody diarrhea, severe abdominal cramps, or signs of kidney problems (bruising, pale skin, decreased urination), seek immediate medical care.
- Cook all ground beef to 160°F internal temperature using a food thermometer.
