K. Heeps pureed roast beef products recalled for undeclared milk and wheat allergens

Throw out K. Heeps CafePuree and SYSCO roast beef

K. Heeps, Inc. recalled approximately 152,010 pounds of frozen pureed roast beef products because they contain milk and wheat allergens that are not listed on the label. The affected products were produced between December 2014 and November 2015 and were shipped to distributors in Pennsylvania and exported to Canada. A vegetable flavoring ingredient was the source of the undeclared allergens.

• Do not consume CafePuree MEAT VARIETY PACK, CafePuree SAVORY ROAST BEEF, SYSCO IMPERIAL MEAT VARIETY PACK, or SYSCO SAVORY ROAST BEEF products
• Throw away affected products or return them to where you purchased them
• Check product labels for establishment number EST. 9379 or EST. 9379A
