Carso's Pasta Company Swedish meatballs recalled for undeclared fish allergen

Do not eat Carso's Swedish meatballs

Carso's Pasta Company sold frozen Swedish meatball products that contain anchovies (fish), which was not listed on the label. The products were sold at Amazon Go locations in Seattle between November and December 2019. There have been no reported illnesses.

  • Do not eat 16-oz. cups labeled "CARSO'S PASTA CO. SWEDISH MEATBALLS IN SAUCE" with establishment number "EST. 20790"
  • Throw away the product or return it to the place of purchase
  • If you have a fish allergy and consumed this product, contact your doctor
  • Call USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET) with questions
