Throw out recalled Plainville ground turkey products

Plainville Brands, LLC produced raw ground turkey products that may be contaminated with Salmonella Hadar bacteria. About 211,406 pounds were produced December 18–29, 2020, and sold under the brands Nature's Promise, Wegmans, and Plainville Farms. The outbreak has sickened 28 people across 12 states.

• Do not eat ground turkey products made by Plainville Brands (Plainville Farms, Nature's Promise Free From, or Wegmans brand) with use-by dates 1/1/21, 1/3/21, 1/4/21, 1/8/21, or 1/10/21.
• Throw away any of these products you have, or return them to your store for destruction.
• If you have frozen packages, discard them immediately—do not thaw or cook them.
• Wash hands, utensils, and surfaces that touched the raw meat.
• Contact your doctor if you develop diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or fever within 6 days of eating ground turkey.
