Ground beef products recalled for potential E. coli O157:H7 contamination

Do not eat ground beef from March 28, 2024
Ground beef products produced on March 28, 2024, with a "Use/Freeze by" date of April 22, 2024, may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The contamination was discovered by the producer, and the affected products were shipped to food service institutions and retail locations nationwide. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your freezer for ground beef with packaging date "032824" and establishment number "EST. 960A" on the USDA inspection mark.
- Do not eat these products. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
- Cook all ground beef to an internal temperature of 160°F using a food thermometer.
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 with questions about this alert.
