Ivar's ready-to-eat soup products were prepared under insanitary conditions and may spoil prematurely. The company discovered the problem after receiving complaints about bloated packages and finding high levels of spoilage bacteria in testing. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your refrigerator or freezer for Ivar's soup products with the affected Use By dates listed.
  • Do not eat these soups—throw them away or return them to the store.
  • If you have eaten one of these soups and feel sick, contact your doctor.
  • Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 with questions.
