De Todito and similar chip products with pork cracklings recalled for ineligible Colombian import

Do not eat De Todito chips with pork cracklings

The USDA found that mixed chip products containing pork cracklings (chicharrón) were illegally imported from Colombia, which is not approved to export meat products to the U.S. These products were distributed to stores in Florida, New York, and nationwide between August 2024 and March 2025. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat these products if you have them at home.
  • Throw away the products or return them to the store where you bought them.
  • Look for De Todito, Golpe Con Todo Sabor, and similar chip bags containing chicharrón in 140-g, 165-g, or 270-g packages.
  • Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 with questions.
