Multiple frozen taquito and chimichanga brands recalled for hard plastic contamination
Throw out recalled frozen taquitos and chimichangas
Several brands of frozen beef and chicken taquitos and chimichangas have been recalled because they may contain hard plastic pieces from contaminated green chili ingredients. The plastic could cause choking or injury to teeth and gums. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your freezer for Great Value, Casa Mamita, or José Olé taquitos and chimichangas with establishment numbers EST 5590, P5590, or EST. 17417
- Do not eat any recalled products
- Throw away affected products or return them to the store where you bought them
- Call Ajinomoto Foods at (855) 742-5011 with questions
