Aldi USDA Choice Black Angus beef recalled for soft plastic contamination

Do not eat Aldi Black Angus beef for carne picada
Aldi Black Angus beef packages sold in July 2023 may contain soft, clear plastic fragments. The contamination was discovered after a retail store reported finding plastic in the product. No illnesses have been reported, but the product should not be consumed.
- Do not eat this product if you have it at home.
- Throw away the affected beef or return it to your Aldi store.
- Check your refrigerator and freezer for packages labeled 'USDA CHOICE BLACK ANGUS BEEF FROM ALDI, BEEF FOR CARNE PICADA' with a 'Use or Freeze by' date of August 22, 2023.
