Do not eat meat or poultry from Myanmar
The USDA discovered meat and poultry products illegally imported from Myanmar on U.S. store shelves and in homes. Myanmar is not approved to export these products to the United States. These products have no import markings on their labels and were distributed to retailers nationwide. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat any meat or poultry products from Myanmar
- Throw away or return to the store any products you purchased
- Tell retailers not to sell these products
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 with questions
