Frank's Butcher Shop ground beef recalled for E. coli O103 contamination
Do not eat Frank's Butcher Shop ground beef
Frank's Butcher Shop ground beef sold at their Hudson, Wyoming location may be contaminated with E. coli O103, a harmful bacteria. The affected product was packed on October 7 or 9, 2022. No illnesses have been reported so far, but the company is alerting customers who may still have this meat in their freezer.
- Do not eat ground beef from Frank's Butcher Shop with pack dates of 10-07-2022 or 10-09-2022.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store.
- If you ate this meat and develop diarrhea, bloody stools, or vomiting within 8 days, contact your doctor.
- Always cook ground beef to 160°F using a food thermometer to kill harmful bacteria.
