Tucson Tamale chicken and pork tamales recalled for hard plastic contamination
Throw out Tucson Tamale brand tamales
Tucson Tamale Wholesale Co. is recalling frozen chicken and pork tamale products sold nationwide because they may contain hard plastic pieces from contaminated tomato ingredients. The plastic could break teeth or cause choking. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Tucson Tamale brand tamales with lot codes F20296, F20309, F20303, F20307, F20314, or F20302 and sell-by dates between 10/23/22 and 11/10/22.
- Do not eat these products.
- Throw them away or return them to where you bought them.
- Call your doctor if you or anyone in your family gets sick after eating these tamales.
