Pruski's Market and Hooser Custom Meats jerky recalled for undeclared soy allergen

Do not eat Pruski's Market or Hooser Custom Meats jerky

Several beef, spicy beef, and turkey jerky products sold in Texas contain soy, a known allergen, but the ingredient is not listed on the label. This could be dangerous for people with soy allergies. The products were made between September 21 and November 9, 2023, with sell-by dates ranging from March 21 through May 9, 2024. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your pantry or refrigerator for the affected jerky products (Pruski's Market or Hooser Custom Meats brands with the listed sell-by dates)
  • Do not eat these products if you have a soy allergy
  • Throw the products away or return them to where you bought them
