Throw out Swiss Processing Plant summer sausage
Swiss Processing Plant, Inc. produced approximately 51 pounds of Hawaiian-style summer sausage that may contain pieces of metal. The contamination was discovered by an employee and the products were sold only at the company's retail store and a local winery in Hermann, Missouri in November 2021.
- Do not eat Swiss Processing Plant Hawaiian-style summer sausage with "MADE ON" date 111821 and establishment number "EST. 2969"
- Throw away any of these products or return them to the place of purchase
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 with questions (10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday)
