Chinese meat and poultry products recalled for import violations and unsafe handling

Do not eat imported meat or poultry from China
The USDA identified imported meat and poultry products from China that were not properly inspected before entering the U.S. and do not meet food safety requirements. These products are unsafe and should not be eaten. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat any imported meat or poultry products from China that lack a valid U.S. inspection number on the package.
- Throw away any such products by double-bagging them to prevent animals from accessing them.
- Call your doctor if you ate one of these products and feel sick.
- Contact the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET) with questions.
