House of Raeford chicken strips recalled for potential Listeria contamination
Throw out House of Raeford chicken strips
House of Raeford chicken strips produced on September 29, 2016, may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The ready-to-eat products were served at restaurants in Ohio as part of fajita and gyro dishes in December 2016. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat these chicken strips if you purchased or received them
- Throw away the product or return it to the place of purchase
- If you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system and ate this product, contact a doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms within two months
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Eastern) if you have questions
