Nutriom LLC egg products recalled for falsified safety tests and Salmonella risk

Do not eat Nutriom egg products
Nutriom LLC, a Washington egg processor, falsified laboratory test results and failed to properly test for Salmonella contamination. The company refused to expand its recall when USDA found 118,541 additional pounds of unsafe egg products. These dried egg products were sold under brand names including OvaEasy, Bak-Klene, Vitovo, Panera, and Wise Company.
- Check your freezer, pantry, and refrigerator for OvaEasy, Bak-Klene, Vitovo, Panera, or Wise Company egg products made by Nutriom LLC (plant #21493G on the package)
- Do not eat these products—throw them away or return them to the store
- If you have eaten these products and feel sick, contact your doctor
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 with questions
