Throw out Organic Rancher ground beef

Organic Rancher organic ground beef products sold at Whole Foods may contain hard plastic pieces. The contamination was discovered after consumers reported finding plastic in the meat. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat these products if you have them at home.
  • Throw away affected ground beef or return it to Whole Foods.
  • Check your refrigerator and freezer for 16-oz packages with a use-by date of 5-18-2022 and establishment number EST. 4027.
  • Call your doctor if you have eaten this product and feel sick.
