Discard Trader Joe's chicken salad with use-by dates through 10/13/2017
Trader Joe's Broccoli Slaw & Kale Salad with White Chicken Meat (9.3 oz) may contain Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria. The affected products were produced October 3–6, 2017 and have use-by dates of October 10–13, 2017. These products are no longer being sold, but anyone who has them at home should not eat them.
- Check if you have a 9.3-oz Trader Joe's Broccoli Slaw & Kale Salad with White Chicken Meat with a use-by date of 10/10/2017, 10/11/2017, 10/12/2017, or 10/13/2017
- Do not eat the product. Throw it away or return it to your store
- If you ate this product and experience flu-like symptoms (fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion) within two months, contact your doctor and mention the contaminated food
- People at highest risk are pregnant women, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems
