BRP Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Explosion Hazard

Electrostatic changes can accumulate and spark in the fuel tank when the engine is left idling, posing an explosion hazard that could result in serious injuries or death.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using these vehicles immediately and contact any Ski-Doo dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair. Registered owners have been directly notified about this recall by mail. All models already repaired under previous recalls due to laceration hazard from projectiles, fire hazard, or explosion must be repaired again.
Sold at
Ski-Doo dealers nationwide from March 2004 through March 2010 for between $9,000 and $10,000.
