Yamaha Drive 2 golf cars recalled for missing stop lights, crash hazard
What this means
Yamaha golf car vehicles from 2021–2025 were manufactured without stop lights, which increases the risk of rear-end collisions and serious injury. About 19,300 vehicles are affected. No injuries have been reported yet.
- Stop using the recalled golf car immediately.
- Contact an authorized Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule free installation of two stop lights.
- If you cannot bring the vehicle to a dealer, Yamaha will provide transportation or install the lights at your location.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled golf car vehicles and contact an authorized Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule the free installation of two stoplights. For consumers who cannot take their recalled golf car to an authorized dealer, Yamaha will provide transportation or will install the stoplights at the location of the golf cart.
