Stop using Magellan Odyssey Rocker Chair

Academy Sports + Outdoors is recalling Magellan Odyssey Rocker Chairs sold between September and October 2025 because the chair legs can break. This poses a risk of falls and injury. The chairs have a metal frame with mesh backrest and were sold in charcoal, navy, olive green, and teal colors.

  • Stop using the chair immediately.
  • Check the tracking label on the seat for a date code of 07/2025 or 08/2025.
  • Return the chair to any Academy Sports + Outdoors store for a full refund.
  • Or contact Academy Customer Care to arrange a free mail return at 1-888-922-2336.

Hazard

The recalled chairs' legs can break, posing injury and fall hazards to consumers.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and return them to any Academy Sports + Outdoors store for a full refund. Consumers can also contact Academy's Customer Care to return the chair by mail at no cost.

Academy Sports + Outdoors stores nationwide and online at academy.com from September 2025 through October 2025 for about $50.
