Specialized Turbo Como SL electric bicycles recalled for fork failure and fall hazard

FALLNationwide distribution

Stop riding Specialized Turbo Como SL bikes

Specialized electric bicycles in the Como SL line have forks that can develop small cracks over time, which may lead to fork failure and cause the rider to fall. The company has received one report of a fork failure but no injuries so far.

  • Stop riding your Specialized Turbo Como SL bicycle immediately.
  • Check if you own one: look for "Como SL" printed on the seat or top tube, or connect your bike to the Specialized app.
  • Contact your Authorized Specialized Retailer to schedule a free fork replacement.
  • Replacement forks will be available in spring 2026.
