AirClub convertible bassinets recalled for fall hazard between bed and mattress
Stop using AirClub convertible bassinets immediately
AirClub convertible bassinets (model QX-831) have a defective attachment mechanism that creates a dangerous gap between the bassinet and adult bed mattress. Infants can fall through this opening, causing serious injury or death. About 110,400 units were sold online between October 2023 and December 2025.
- Stop using the bassinet immediately if you own model QX-831
- Contact AirClub for a free replacement attachment mechanism with new straps
- Remove and discard the original L-shaped straps when instructed
- Install the new four straps with T-shaped buckles following AirClub's instructions

The recalled convertible bassinets violate the mandatory standard for bedside sleepers because the mechanism used to attach the product to the adult bed creates an opening between the bedside sleeper and mattress, posing a deadly fall hazard to infants.
