Stop using Acer AES015 electric scooter
A loose screw on the Acer AES015 folding electric scooter can cause the front tube to collapse unexpectedly while riding, creating a fall hazard. The scooters were sold online and in stores between June 2023 and February 2026. One injury has been reported internationally.
- Stop using the scooter immediately
- Visit acer.com/us-en/support/alerts-recalls or contact Acer for instructions to tighten the screw
- Request free repair tools from Acer if needed
- Look for model AES015 on the label on the front tube to confirm your scooter is affected

A loose screw can cause the front tube to fold down unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from a fall hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled folding electric scooter immediately and contact Acer at https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/alerts-recalls for instructions on how to tighten the screw. Free repair tools will be available to consumers upon request.

Online at Acer.com, Amazon.com and in stores at BrandMart from between June 2023 and February 2026 for between $245 and $70.

None reported in the United States (and one report of the tube folding down resulting in a fall and minor abrasions internationally).
