Yamaha UMAX Bistro vehicles recalled for weight capacity labeling error
Yamaha UMAX Bistro and Bistro Deluxe vehicles (Model Years 2019–2025) have an incorrect weight capacity label. If the label is wrong, the vehicle could be overloaded, creating a risk of injury to operators or bystanders.
- Stop using the vehicle until the label is replaced.
- Contact an authorized Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule a free label replacement.
- A dealer will replace the label at your vehicle's location at no cost.

The recalled Bistro and Bistro Deluxe vehicles have an inaccurate weight capacity certification label. This could result in the vehicle being overloaded, which poses an injury hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled UMAX Bistro and Bistro Deluxe vehicles and contact an authorized Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule a free replacement of the label. A Yamaha dealer will replace the label at the vehicle's location.

Yamaha Golf Car dealers nationwide beginning July 2018 through May 2026 for between $17,495 and $29,06.
