GOPO Toys teething toy recalled for choking risk
GOPO Toys pull string teething toys have silicone strings that are longer and thinner than safety standards allow. The strings can reach the back of a child's throat and become lodged, causing choking or respiratory distress. The company has received three reports of strings reaching children's throats.
- Stop letting your child use this toy immediately.
- Contact GOPO Toys at recalls@gopotoys.com for a full refund.
- Cut all silicone strings off the toy, write "DESTROYED" on it in permanent marker, photograph it, and email the photo to the company.
- Throw away the destroyed toy.
