DREO DR-HSH015 space heaters recalled for fire and burn hazards
DREO is recalling about 338,800 DR-HSH015 space heaters in the U.S. because they can overheat and ignite. The recall covers units made from April 2025 through January 2026, with the manufacture date and model number on a label on the underside. DREO has received 17 reports of the heaters catching fire, including three cases of property damage and one hand burn injury.

What to do
- Stop using the recalled heater and unplug it from the outlet.
- Contact DREO for a free replacement heater.
- Destroy the heater by cutting its electrical cord, then follow DREO's instructions to send a photo of it.

- Description
- This recall involves DREO space heaters, model number DR-HSH015. The ceramic, electric heaters are black and measure about 11.5 inches wide and 13 inches tall and include a remote control. Only units manufactured from April 2025 through January 2026 are included in this recall. The manufacture date, in YYYY/MM format, and the model number are printed on a label on the heater’s underside and “DREO” on the front of the unit.
- Hazard
- The recalled space heaters can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards.
- Remedy
- Consumers should stop using the recalled space heaters immediately and contact DREO for a free replacement space heater. Consumers will be asked to unplug the space heater, destroy it by cutting the electrical cord and follow instructions to send a photo of the destroyed heater.
