Pacearth Direct U-type swing seats recalled for fall hazard from breaking hardware
What this means
The metal carabiners, quick links, or webbing straps on Pacearth Direct U-type swing seats can break during use, causing the seat to fall. The company has received at least 30 reports of falls, including nine injuries such as fractures and head injuries.
- Stop using the swing seat immediately.
- Contact Pacearth Direct at recall@pacearth.com for a full refund.
- Write "RECALLED" on the seat with permanent marker, take a photo showing the PACEARTH logo, and email it to the recall address.

The seats, metal carabiners or quick links, or webbing straps of the recalled swing seats can break during use, posing a risk of serious injury due to fall hazard.
Consumers should stop using the recalled swing seats immediately and contact Pacearth Direct for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write “RECALLED” on the swing seat with permanent marker, take a photo of it, including the PACEARTH logo and email to recall@pacearth.com.
