Straumann USA LLC recalled certain WB Impression Post Closed Tray kits because they contain magenta impression caps instead of the correct brown caps. This mix-up could lead to using the wrong component during dental implant procedures. The recall affects 561 units distributed nationwide.
- Check if you have a Straumann WB Impression Post kit with lot numbers VWPX4 or VWPX6 and article number 065.4810
- If you have an affected kit, verify the impression caps are brown; if they are magenta, do not use the kit
- Contact your Straumann distributor or Straumann USA LLC for instructions on return or replacement
