OTHERNationwide distribution

Stop using Burlington Medical BAT aprons

Burlington Medical BAT (Breast, Axilla and Thyroid) radiation protective aprons made with Xenolite 800 material between January 2025 and January 2026 may lose their protective effectiveness over time. The material can degrade, reducing how well the apron shields against radiation.

  • Check your BAT apron's serial number and manufacturing date against Burlington Medical's list
  • If your apron was made between 01/16/2025 and 01/21/2026, stop using it immediately
  • Contact Burlington Medical or your healthcare supplier for a replacement
  • Do not use degraded aprons for radiation protection until replaced
Hazard
