Medline convenience kits recalled for unapproved design changes
Medline Industries identified that certain medical convenience kits containing 10mL polycarbonate colored syringes were manufactured with design changes that were not reviewed or approved by the FDA. These kits are used in cardiac catheterization, angiography, and other medical procedures. The firm has initiated a recall of affected lots.
- Check if your facility uses any of the affected Medline convenience kits listed in this recall
- Verify lot numbers against the specific product SKUs identified (DYNJ codes and SAMPC0686)
- Contact Medline or your supplier for return instructions and replacement products
- Do not use affected kits until you receive guidance from Medline or the FDA
