Cardinal Health Presource surgical kits recalled for fluid leakage risk
What this means
Cardinal Health Presource Packs containing Stryker StrykeFlow PS and AHTO tube sets may leak fluid during use. Fluid can pool on the floor and create a slip and fall hazard for operating room staff.
- Check your inventory against the affected catalog numbers (PB23GLNLAC, PB23GLNLA1–4, PB23GRNLD, PB23GRNLE, PB23GRNL5, PB23GRNL6, SOTDKGREFB) and lot numbers listed in the recall notice.
- Do not use affected kits until you receive guidance from Cardinal Health.
- Contact Cardinal Health customer service for instructions on return or replacement.

The kits contain tube sets with handpieces that may leak during use. The impacted devices can have the following failures: fluid leakage from the hand piece that can pool on the floor. The impact can range from user dissatisfaction to the potential for the user of slip and fall.
