Novo Nordisk Wegovy semaglutide injection recalled for hair in prefilled pen
Stop using Novo Nordisk Wegovy injection pens
Novo Nordisk has recalled specific batches of Wegovy (semaglutide) 1 mg injection pens because hair was found inside prefilled syringes. This affects two lot numbers distributed nationwide. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if your Wegovy pens are lot #RZFYK06 or #RZFYA53 with expiration date 3/31/2027
- Do not use pens from these lots
- Contact your pharmacy or healthcare provider for a replacement or refund
